Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage includes loosening the tight muscle tissue, releasing any trigger points (knots) and any fascial adhesions to recover and lengthen the muscle.  If you have any aches and pains or an injury therapeutic massage would be the best type as this includes deep tissue release, fascial release, acupressure, trigger point therapy.

Fascial Therapy

Fascial therapy is breaking down the fascial adhesions and scar tissue. Fascial therapy manipulates the fascia surrounding the muscle tissue, to create a postural balance in the body. It helps to decrease muscle tension, increase circulation and nerve conduction. Superficial fascial techniques and deep frictioning techniques are used. A little painful but we will always work within your level of comfort.  Fascial therapy techniques are included in therapeutic massage since most of us have fascial adhesions and scar tissue in our body.

This is good if you feel like you have lot of stagnant energy and/or you are sitting most of the day. Massaging along the meridian lines will help to open up the blockages and to move energy in the body in a more efficient manner. It improves total wellbeing. Acupressure massage is working on some of the acupuncture points without the needles. Some acupressure points are incorporated in therapeutic massage.
